Life is the garment worn
draped upon and surrounding
open sometimes to view
or many times a shroud to veil
An occasional ornament
to provide a fancy
often grand in its appearance
to the finest detail

It can be shabby
or shiny or chic
and often by choice
left as a pile at one’s feet
But if desired
It can be re adorned
creating one’s self
freshly transformed

Life has limitless possibilities
that can clad and dress
change if you wish
to the whimsy of your soul
It’s Gods gift
to use all that is on the rack
choosing
what makes you feel whole

AMEN

When the times seem to hasten
and the senses begin to wane,
and there is no further search
to be mad or to blame,
Then I am alive.

If I don’t look for answers
and be just who I am,
a stare not of confusion,
just nothing more to examine
I am but alive.

Thoughts of many changes,
some subtle others quite gruff
It’s not that I really care,
I feel, as I’ve had enough
I have lived.

No fear, or contemplation
or desiring more
The destination is complete,
turning a page, another door
To a new life.

To all those whom have known me,
may God’s blessings continue
to be yours
And may you remember me
in Love and kindness
from our times before
Live well.

Spring has sprung,
no need to look back,
as days become longer,
with less time in the sack.

Snow retreating,
in quick haste,
children appearing,
all things in fast pace.

Blooms appearing,
soon leaves on the trees,
the ground becomes soggy,
a hope for not another freeze.

Soon the patio furniture,
will find its placement,
once again, as if a new life,
is about to begin.

And we know there will be,
the back and forth times,
but the smiles on our faces,
shows an ease in our minds.

So take with you,
the promise and amazing sensation,
leave what you have endured behind,
while you tally forth with jubilation.

As my eyes open
upon this new day,
please guide my thoughts
in a positive way.
And should I find evil and misgivings
laid before my feet,
may I treat them with Love and kindness,
letting know
it’s what makes me complete.

May you awake feeling blessings,
laid softly upon your soul
with abundance of joy to be shared,
coming from your heart.
A smile that emits happiness,
and a twinkle in your eyes,
that says we’re all in it together,
within God’s guidance, doing our part.
