The scent of lilacs, roses, and jasmine, pervading upon the senses
The warmth of the summer’s breeze, providing a subtle touch, as it so lightly caresses
An aura of lithe and happiness, feet out of shoes, and toes in grass,
a twirl to the sky, and a courtesy with her dress
A pick of a posey, and placed within her hair
Her tiara worn with grace, and a gaze ‘I needn’t care’
A skip-to-my-loo, a spin in the air, clearly stating her case, ‘I don’t have a care’
A gentle hold of a kitten, picked up and caressed
A peck on the head, as if it were blessed
A silly tee-hee and a smile, given from above,
a halo that glows, the most innocence of love
You’ll remember her, as she passes by
With her grace and dignity, and the sparkle in her eye
You to again, can frolic and play,
A lesson from a little girl, while passing on her way
