Heaven’s Presentation

Clouds aloft and drifting, in an elegance of there own,

a wispy dance, a billowing performance,

or a dark and ominous looming dome

The Sun often joins in,

peeping through with help from the wind,

and sends rays dancing among us,

as leaves frolic and spin

The nectar of God, provided from above,

for nourishment of our growing friends,

in the continued cycle, where the means, always justifies the ends

The amusement oft provided, by shapes forming,

for our minds to explore

A lion, clown or a tree, and then in a moment, not as it was before

For their fluffy ensembles, congregating as they do quite often

Providing shade, casting rain and snow with sullen thoughts,

that will soon be forgotten

Then the awakening to a palette of only blue in every direction,

as the sun sits alone

Beautiful as they are, sometimes those clouds,

feel more like I am at home

So when my eyes are cast, upon the vast array,

of an ever changing sky

Don’t mind me if I’m waving, it’s just my way of saying hello,

as they pass me by
