A Mere Thought?

Sometimes I feel far away,  from where I think  I should be,
Like in a trance, suddenly waking up, as if it were a dream

And there are those times, that come as a surprise, an awakening of sorts,
That I shake my head and think instead, there’s nothing here, for me to report

Perhaps I’ll pull the blinds, to darken the room, to see if things will change
Pieces once put neatly together, seem in a twirl, and a just a little bit strange

It’s interesting how a mind can wonder, and dilute the present visions
Revolving round-and-round, with offerings but nothing as a final decision

Silly how so many ideas blend in, from whence we begin
To ending up, in consternation, back to where it all began

The cloth we weave is so often, both rough and smooth
Added beads and colorful lace, adorning, through and through

But as is the case when speaking out, that which is on your mind
In retrospect, there could have been, better words spoken at that time

Life’s journey, seems to be evolving, as another corner is turned
Wondering if at the finish line I’ll recognize, all the lessons I’ve been meant to learn

My wish is for all is to be happy and find the truest of Love
And feel Gods blessings within your soul, as his gift from above
