Run but can’t Hide
The leviathan that is greed, from the depths arises,
attaches its tentacles to those of good heart,
and pure in soul.
They’ll continue in prayer,
the judgement left to the Lord,
allowing with prejudice,
those that abuse what they think they control .
Their needs for grand coffers of riches and power,
diluted by ego not looking into a mirror.
For the rest of us, we’ll see the day,
the day of redemption,
when all things become much clearer
Take and keep taking until you have nothing,
for you know what’s coming,
the day that it has all ended
You will answer to a higher power,
at the time your lesson is learned,
and your souls have been surrendered
