For the moment of nothing, just a blink,
of indeterminant amount of time,
then before a second has ticked off,
endless thoughts roll through my mind.
Then again the stoppage of my inquiring,
of ideas and perceptions, that race about,
some finding answers, and some just leaving,
they’re most uncertain doubt.
The chase of my tail, the reasons for me,
to go and sit down
Sometimes things, just seem,
to go round and round and round.
But I’ve learned to realize, that to wait until tomorrow,
to change life’s leaps and bounds.
Cause just as things seem so often to be lost,
they’ll be just as many to be found.
There is one certainty for me,
that I hold in the highest of regards.
As I feel the smile within,
when look up, and see God amongst the stars.
So may you find your solace and peace,
to dwell in your heart.
That they may bind together with you,
that you’ll never be apart.
May happiness, joy and endless faith of your Lord,
always be with you.
